Here’s my latest video showing how I captured and processed the Whirlpool Galaxy. As usual I captured it from the dark sky at Utah Desert Remote Observatories which gave me great data to work with. Processing was pretty straightforward using PixInsight to basic calibration and integration and then Photoshop for the final combination and finishing touches.
This was captured using our PlaneWave CDK12.5 and ASI6200MC Pro camera. Both are available to rent by the imaging hour. You can find more information about hourly rentals on our website Rental page.
