There has been a lot of interest and hype around Comet C/2022 E3 (ZTF) which the media is hyping as “The Green Comet.” Of course, nearly all comets are green, so that’s not really anything special, but it’s still a nice bright comet with a very long period, so we won’t see it again in our lifetimes.
For this video I was joined by Mike Jensen from Florida. He used our hourly rental program to collect images of the comet and we thought it would make a nice data set for a demonstration of how to process the images in PixInsight and Photoshop.
